What does the role involve?
Senior Personal Advisers and Personal Advisers

You'll be delivering high quality Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) to young people in Hertfordshire who are in learning and those who are not in education, employment, or training, with a focus on vulnerable groups. This could be delivered through a one-to-one setting, or also in group work, which supports young people to develop their career management skills and make informed decisions at key transition points.

By working with the young person, their family members/carers, and others, this is a pivotal role in enabling young people to maximise their potential.

The Senior Personal Advisers will be line managing Personal Advisers and or Employment Training Advisers.

CEIAG Development Worker

You'll be developing and delivering creative and innovative CEIAG, and work-related learning initiatives aimed at supporting young people in achieving successful progression into education, employment, or training.

This is an excellent opportunity for you to shape the delivery of our services for young people both now and in the future, through developing new locality projects and services to meet our funders and stakeholders’ expectations.

Through your strong passion for empowering young people, you will be contributing to the positive outcomes for the community. This opportunity offers a meaningful role in shaping the future for young people and their career development.

You will also support the delivery of quality work across the County by collaborating with partners, developing expertise, training practitioners, and promoting the use of social media.

You will be using your experience with young people to quickly establish positive relationships by using effective communication, with diverse groups of young people and partners.

For the Personal Adviser, you will either be qualified at degree level as above, or willing to undertake the Level 6 CEIAG Qualification apprenticeship
