Crynodeb
Policy professionals work to design and deliver appropriate projects and policy solutions to help meet key government priorities and ministerial objectives. Good policy is developed by teams that bring diversity of thought and experience to the process.
At DCMS, we have five directorates within the Policy Group. Further detail on each of them is provided in the attached Candidate Information Pack. They are:
- Culture and Creative Industries (CCI)
- Cultural Diplomacy, Loans and Visitor Economy (CLoVE)
- Civil Society and Youth (CSY)
- Media and International (MINT)
- Sport and Gambling (S&G)
Our Policy Advisor roles will include a mix of policy development and delivery, and the ongoing oversight of existing programmes, policies and public bodies set up to help deliver these. They will involve a lot of collaborative working to ensure high quality results. You will need to work autonomously and proactively to manage competing priorities, work directly to senior DCMS staff and manage senior external stakeholder relationships.
