Coffee Street, your friendly, local, independent coffee shop based in Wath-upon-Dearne. We aim to provide you with excellent customer service and great tasting drinks, food, and treats. Being independent means, we rely 100% on you, our customers to survive, and the best way to do that is provide you with the best possible service and products, which we endeavour to do every day. We offer a great range of drinks, food, and treats, so there really is something for everyone to enjoy. We are looking for a apprentice to join our team.

Duties to include:

You will be working alongside another chef to produce and serve various dishes from our breakfast and lunch menu.
Preparing food ready for service ensuring our 5-star hygiene rating is maintained
Serving customers at the till along with the occasional barista work.
You will gain knowledge and follow company and statutory Health and safety
and adhere to any cleaning rotas .
You will be requires to maintain personal hygiene standards at all time.
Maintain a workload rate that ensures the kitchen operation is efficient and avoid any disturbances to service.
Work well under the instruction of supervisor and other team members as a
team and using your own initiative.
Ensure the kitchen are kept clean and tidy, pots, crockery and utensils and
glasses etc are cleaned and put away.
To communicate well with other members of the team.
Any other duties as deemed appropriate by senior staff.

Hardworking.
Be able to work long shifts standing.
Attentive.
Enthusiastic approach to all aspects of work.
Must have the ability to work under pressure and at speed.
Candidates must be flexible regarding working hours.
Candidates must ensure they are punctual.
Professional and presentable appearance.
Able to work as part of a team.
Have a true interest and passion for the catering and hospitality industry.
Patient and be willing to learn.
Multitasker.
Polite.
Able to follow instructions but also show initiative.
Excellent timekeeping skills.
Good communication skills.
