Field based role with minimum 2 days/ week in Bristol

As the Facilities Management Lead you will be the main point of contact with client FM provider and oversee the operation and maintenance of all buildings and facilities used to deliver the Serco Health Assessment Advisory Services (HAAS) contract across the southwest of England. You will provide the contracts operations team, with the estate and facilities that are required to safely deliver the service, for staff and service users.
Reporting directly into the Supply Chain Manager, you will work collaboratively with key stakeholders such as the Finance Business Partner, Procurement Business Partner, Utilities Manager, Property Services Manager, Contract H&S Manager and Group Insurance Manager.
Your main responsibilities:
- Running the main contract HQ office building.
- Developing a long-term FM buildings strategy for the estate.
- Maintain asset register and lifecycle planning.
- Manage planned and preventative maintenance programme for the estate.
- Manager of cleaning, maintenance, security and waste and recycling contracts including monitoring reporting and service levels
- Work with the H&S Compliance Manager to identify risks and record on Risk Manager.
- Manage all statutory requirements to ensure all workplaces one is directly responsible for are safe, compliant, and pleasant workspace for all occupants.
- Work closely with the FBP and contract SLT regarding any financial decisions and complete monthly management packs including a P&L Overview.
- Produce annual forecasts for all property related expenditure.
- Manage directly reporting staff including providing support and ongoing guidance to the staff in line with company policy and processes.
What you’ll need to do the role:
- Previous FM management / supervisory experience, ideally multi-site.
- Strong understanding of FM and applicable legislation.
- Experience of delivering both hard services and soft services.
- Have qualification in health and safety such as IOSH, and knowledge of H&S requirements for office properties / office working.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Analytical and logical approach to problem solving in field of expertise.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to lead and motivate others.
