The successful candidate will provide general ENT services with a sub-specialty interest to complement the current specialty skills within the department - ideally this would provide support to colleagues in rhinology or benign head and neck (+/- thyroid) surgery. The appointee will be part of a team of 6 consultants delivering care to West and North Dorset and South Somerset.
Informal visits to the department are encouraged.
To arrange this please contact Richard Sim, Clinical Lead for ENT, Richard.Sim@dchft.nhs.uk or Megan Homer, Business Manager for ENT, megan.homer@dchft.nhs.uk - 01305 254085.
Potential interview date: 29th July 2024
The post is full time covering 10 PA’s (40 hours) including on call commitment. At present, there are no fixed out-of-hours commitments. The post holder will contribute to the ENT on‑call rota as 1 in 5. The consultant is second on-call and non-resident. The first on-call rota is covered by the middle grade doctors.
