Summary

CAMFA 14+ Counsellor

Adferiad Recovery delivers a flexible and coordinated response to the exceptional circumstances faced by people with co-occurring mental health and substance use conditions and related issues. Vulnerable people facing complex life challenges need consistent and seamless support to ensure they remain engaged with vital health and wellbeing services – and to prevent them becoming disenfranchised and isolated.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Mon – Fri, occasional evening work to meet service needs

Salary: £25,027.20 per annum.

Adferiad pay BACP membership plus accreditation costs. Salary increases upon achieving accreditation status. Adferiad also offer exciting CPD events and opportunities.

Holidays: 25 days per year plus 8 public holidays (pro rata)

Based at: Dawn Centre, Colwyn Bay

Covering: Conwy & Denbighshire

Interviews for this vacancy will take place on Tuesday, 28th May. Specific times will be sent to all shortlisted candidates closer to the interview date.

Job Purpose:

To provide a specialist substance misuse Counselling Service to CAMFA 14+ clients. To work autonomously within professional guidelines and exercise responsibility for the systematic governance of psychological practice within the service.

A Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling (as a minimum) is essential for this post.
