We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join our team in September. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality science education to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring a love of learning and fostering scientific inquiry.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging science lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Teach a range of science disciplines, including biology, chemistry, and physics, incorporating practical experiments and demonstrations where appropriate.
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel empowered to explore scientific concepts and develop their skills.
- Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative assessment methods, providing constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching resources and share best practices within the department.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- A degree in Science or a related field is essential, with strong subject knowledge across biology, chemistry, and physics.
- Previous experience teaching science at Key Stages 3 and 4 is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to embrace new teaching methodologies and technologies.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
