A Vacancy at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust.
This is a key leadership role within the Institute of Care Excellence, supporting and enabling the Institute Clinical Lead for Quality, Innovation and Transformation in relation to local accreditation and care excellence standards; including relevant national/international accreditation programmes. The post holder is responsible for the development of systems and policies supporting nursing and midwifery care excellence across the Trust and within the Institute for Care Excellence. This includes initiating and developing a long term strategy for care excellence aligned with ANCC programmes
Specifically the remit involves:
Planning, conducting and supporting high quality clinical improvements and innovations, ensuring alignment with reporting standards for ANCC accreditation programmes and driving the local accreditation programmes.
Providing expertise in design, development, analysis, and dissemination of new knowledge and the use of evidence to guide and support clinical practice.
Advising Divisional Nurses and their teams to deliver an integrated excellence in care strategy for their Division.
Working collaboratively, autonomously, and with authority arising from the use of knowledge and skills, to deliver, shape and develop scientific nursing and midwifery research across organisational, geographical and professional boundaries.
Acting as a catalyst of change for practice and service development, challenging and redefining professional and organisational boundaries.
