Job description
Responsible for ensuring the safe transport of goods to our depots on a daily basis Maintaining the vehicle to a high standard and reporting any defects to your line manager
We have had an exciting opportunity for a Class 1 Night Driver arise based at our Gloucester based head office, delivering goods to our depots over night to be delivered the next day. The role involves;
Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following:
Have a full Class 1 driving license must be held
Have a valid driver digital tachograph card
Must of obtained full driver CPC
Competent with drivers hours & tachograph regulations
Competent with working on their own at all time
Forklift licence/experience would be advantageous, however full training will be provided
Overtime is frequently available in this role
Key Accountabilities
Adhering to Company SHE (Safety, Health, Environmental) Policies and Procedures
Ensure all operational KPI’s and company requirements are met, tracked and challenged
Responsible for self-unloading at our depots
