Crynodeb

The School wishes to appoint highly motivated individuals to join our enthusiastic and committed MBBS teaching team. The post is for one day per week on a Thursday.

The post holder will support small collaborative group learning on the MBBS undergraduate programme during the Year 4 Campus Days, and undertake the role of Academic Advisor for a group of students, including review of the students’ portfolios. Facilitation will include Case-Based Learning, Clinical Reasoning, Professionalism and also social and behavioural science set in a clinical context. Half the day will be facilitation with the remaining time for preparation, assessment and administrative activities.

Applicants will have substantial, currently ongoing experience of working within a healthcare setting and will hold license to practice with the General Medical Council. Experience of small group facilitation and excellent communication skills are essential.
