Payroll Administration Apprenticeship - Hitchin office
Jones Hunt Keelings are a professional and friendly accountancy practice with two offices, Hitchin and Old Hatfield. Our priority is to deliver a first class service to all our clients. We work hard but also get to enjoy free healthcare after 6 months, free parking and team nights out.
Annual wage. £12,500
Working week
Monday - Thursday 9am - 5.30pm
Friday 9am - 4pm
Total hours per week: 37.5 hours a week
Day to day responsibilities
- gather payroll-related information to ensure payments can be made on time and accurately
- create payroll records, updating and validating as appropriate using workplace systems and processes
- process data using payroll software and associated finance, HR and IT systems.
- learn how to process Income Tax, National Insurance, Pensions, and life adjustments both using software and manually
- communicate professionally and effectively with the JHK team and external clients
Qualifications: GCSE Maths 4+ GCSE English 4
