Contract: 32.5 Hours Per Week, Term Time Only + 5 Days

We are looking to appoint a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to work alongside the class teacher to further children’s learning and deepen their understanding. This may involve planning, preparing and delivering lessons / activities for individuals/groups or classes (PPA cover) and monitoring pupils and assessing, recording and reporting on pupils’ achievement, progress and development. Responsible for the management and development of a specialist area within the academy.

The ideal applicant will have:
• Higher Level Teaching Assistant status or working towards this (Level 4)
• Level 2 Numeracy / Literacy (or willingness to work towards)
• Training in relevant learning strategies e.g. literacy
