Service Advisor

Basic Salary: up to £34,000 (OTE up to £43,000)

Working Hours : 8 am - 6 pm NO SATURSDAY'S

Location: North Hampshire

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Service Advisor. As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service experiences and ensuring the smooth operation of our service department.

Responsibilities of Service Advisor:

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, assessing their service needs promptly and accurately.
• Consult with customers to understand their vehicle concerns and recommend appropriate services based on manufacturer recommendations and vehicle condition.
• Schedule service appointments and effectively manage service bays to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Provide clear and detailed explanations of recommended services, estimated costs, and timelines to customers.
• Coordinate with service technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Keep customers informed of the status of their vehicles throughout the service process.
• Address customer inquiries and concerns with empathy and professionalism, striving to resolve issues to their satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation, adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with the sales team to promote additional services and products that align with customer needs and vehicle maintenance schedules.

Experience & Skills of Service Advisor:

• Previous experience in automotive service or customer service roles preferred.
• Experience on Automotive systems like Kerridge/Autoflow/1 link & Pinnacle would be preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Proficiency in computer systems and software applications for scheduling and record-keeping.
• Knowledge of automotive systems and maintenance procedures is advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving customer issues.
• Flexible availability to accommodate varying shift schedules, including weekends and holidays.
