Head of Year (Non-Teaching)Edgar Wood Academy, HeywoodRequired : As soon as possible Salary : Support Staff Salary Scale Point 19-24 (£29,777 - £33,024) Actual for term time is £25,727 - £28,533 Permanent, Term Time : 37 hours per week We are seeking to recruit a dedicated, caring and hardworking non-teaching Head of Year who will lead on the pastoral support, behaviour and attendance of a Year Group. This is an exciting time to join Edgar Wood Academy as we are a new and expanding school, with a current intake of 485 students within Years, 7, 8 and 9 and a further 195 places offered for September 2024. This role would suit a person who is passionate about the education of children and committed to supporting all students to reach their academic and personal potential. We have also recently moved into a modern, state-of-the-art building offering stunning views of the countryside, coupled with a convenient access to several motorway links.
