Crowdys Hill School is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and dynamic Occupational Therapist to join our growing therapy department. We are a special needs school with over 300 pupils, with Complex Needs aged between 4 -19 years and the majority of our students are diagnosed with ASC.
You will be in charge of your own caseload and supported by the Lead Therapist. You will be the only OT in the setting, but we are looking to expand our team in the future. We currently employ three other therapists, therapy assistants and specialist teachers, and you will be working alongside them. The post holder is required to train members of staff in the school setting and should be a team-player.
The post is initially for three days a week during term-time and is flexible, working 39 weeks paid for 45.25. Working hours between 8.30am-3.30pm. You maybe required to attend some after school meetings with notice. There may be a possibility for further hours in the future.
We would welcome applications from Occupational Therapists keen to use or train in sensory integrations therapy in the future with support from the school.
For more information call Trudy Topp at the school.
