Do you currently work in an insurance brokerage with a speciality of commercial property and feel like you could offer more? Do you feel like you are ready for the step up and want to have more client interaction face to face?
My client, an independent and chartered insurance brokerage based in Worcester have a rare opportunity to work closely with the Group Managing Director (GMD) in a key role within the business as Senior Account Handler.
Assisting on his personal account, you will assist the GMD with a small amount of his larger clients with premiums £50k - £500k. The majority of cases are in Property sector Managing Agent Portfolios, Property Owners, Property Developers and Construction.
This is a position where you will also be the lead on the brokers in house Property Binder, so there is an element of underwriting in volved via Delegated Authority.
The role will involve you playing a key part in client meetings, on occasions you will lead meetings and will be expected to develop your own relationships with these clients and handle their policies on a regular basis.
This is an office-based role however due to the close relationships you will develop with the clients in the GMD's book, it will involve an element of travelling with the GMD nationally, including visits to the Isle of Man.
You will have a strong commercial lines technical knowledge and will be able to advise clients with their risks, therefore good relationship building skills and a keen eye for detail are essential.
Salary is open dependant on experience.
