This is an excellent opportunity for an self-motivated, well-organised individual who wishes to develop their skills in the provision of a comprehensive Medical Recruitment and advisory service. The focus of this role will be working alongside the Deputy Medical Recruitment Manager in supporting the recruitment and retention of medical and dental staff across the trust.
The post will offer an opportunity to expand experience in this specialised and developing area of medical recruitment and retention. Applicants should be able to demonstrate decision making and leadership skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills as the post involves liaison with medical staff at all levels, senior managers and external organisations.
Working knowledge of recruitment / employment legislation and good practice such as equal opportunities legislation, confidentiality, data protection and immigration rules are essential.
You will be required to have demonstrable administrative experience, including working in a recruitment service, HR or medical staffing and line management responsibility.

- Deliver and develop a responsive, customer focused, high quality medical recruitment and advisory service to managers and staff, fully utilising e-recruitment tools.

- Provide day to day supervision, leadership and development of the Medical Recruitment Team

- Provide medical and dental terms and conditions advice

- Provide specialist resourcing support and advice for hard to recruit roles and specialties

- Ensure a high level of employment check standards are embedded in medical recruitment activity

You will be required to:

- deliver a responsive medical and dental recruitment and retention service to key stakeholders and support the Head of Medical Resourcing to develop the service and meet the challenges of the medical workforce agenda.

- provide medical recruitment advice to Divisions and People Services teams on the interpretation and application of terms and conditions for medical and dental staff ensuring that accurate information is provided.

- assist in the preparation and presentation of medical recruitment reports.

- provide line management to a team within Medical recruitment ensuring that they are effectively appraised with agreed objectives and personal development plans.

- keep up to date with changes in employment law affecting recruitment and selection practices, policy and procedures.
