Bridge of Allan Primary is looking for a new Principal Teacher to work within a large team.
Bridge of Allan Primary is a large Primary School based within the village of Bridge of Allan, near Stirling. The school sits on the site of a former orchard and is surrounded by trees, parks and green fields as well as local housing. Currently there are 14 classes spread across P1-P7 as well as a nursery. The management team comprises of a Headteacher, two Depute Headteachers and a Principal ECE. There are also 3 Principal Teachers.
You will have a significant teaching commitment alongside responsibility for a curricular area, to be agreed. You will also work with a pupil leadership group. You will be a strong classroom practitioner and will be able to demonstrate leadership experience.
You should have strong interpersonal skills and be a great team player, whilst being able to work under pressure and use initiative when and where needed. You will be an excellent communicator and problem solver. You should also have a good understanding of the current climate within Scottish Education.
