Description
We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced team manager to join our organization as a CSW - Team Manager - CIN of Support & Protection (PO7/PO7C). As the team manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a dedicated team of support workers and ensuring the smooth operation of services related to Child in Need (CIN) support and protection. This is a crucial role that requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of social work principles.

Responsibilities
Lead a team of support workers and provide guidance and supervision to ensure the delivery of high-quality services for children in need of support and protection.
Develop and implement procedures, policies, and processes to ensure compliance with legal requirements and best practices in child protection.
Manage the allocation of cases to team members, ensuring appropriate assessments, plans, and interventions are carried out effectively and in a timely manner.
Monitor and review the progress of cases, identifying any risks or concerns, and taking appropriate action to address them.
Collaborate and liaise with various stakeholders, including social workers, healthcare providers, legal professionals, and other relevant agencies to coordinate support and protection plans for children.
Stay up-to-date with changes in legislation, policies, and social work practices, and ensure that team members are trained and informed accordingly.
Provide regular feedback and performance evaluations to team members, supporting their professional development and promoting a positive and inclusive working environment.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field.
Proven experience in a managerial role within a child protection and support services environment.
Sound knowledge and understanding of child protection legislation, policies, and best practices.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities.
Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions based on critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Thorough understanding of risk assessment, case management, and safeguarding procedures.

Hours Per Week: 36.00
Start Time: 08:00
End Time: 16:00
Pay Per Hour: £33.17
