Temporary Accommodation Property Inspector
Description
We are currently seeking a Temporary Accommodation Property Inspector to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting temporary accommodation properties to ensure they meet health and safety standards and are suitable for occupation. This is a temporary position, with an estimated duration of 3 months.
As a Temporary Accommodation Property Inspector, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of individuals and families who are temporarily housed in the properties we manage. You will conduct thorough inspections of properties, identifying and documenting any issues or concerns that need to be addressed. Additionally, you will work closely with property owners and management companies to provide guidance on necessary repairs and improvements to meet the required standards.
To excel in this role, you must have a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of health and safety regulations. You should also possess excellent communication skills, as you will be required to effectively communicate your findings to property owners and management companies. The ability to work independently and prioritize tasks is also crucial.
Responsibilities
Conduct inspections of temporary accommodation properties to ensure they meet health and safety standards
Identify and document any issues or concerns in detailed inspection reports
Work closely with property owners and management companies to communicate inspection findings and recommend required repairs or improvements
Provide guidance and support to property owners and management companies on meeting regulations and standards
Keep up-to-date with relevant health and safety regulations
Follow established inspection procedures and protocols
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inspections and findings
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in property inspections or related field preferred
Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel to properties of regular business hours, as required.
Hours Per Week: 35.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Rate: £153.44
