Salary: Band 9 - £36,647 - £40,220 p.a.

The purpose of the role is:

  • You will ensure that all solutions are implemented and configured to meet business needs by understanding historic data, business practice, future requirements, system functionality and capability.
  • You will ensure that CSCS Mosaic requirements will be written with enough detail for the developer to code and implement.
  • You will provide application support, advice and guidance to system users and owners to promote efficient, effective and accurate recording.
  • You will have expert knowledge of CSCS business practices
  • You will ensure that the business applications comply with internal and external legislation and policy, e.g. Ofsted, GDPR and Auditory requirements, Local and Central Government etc.
  • You will carry out change request triage and obtain from the business as much detail as required to assist with the team recommendations to meet the business needs.
  • You will ensure that Mosaic System changes are managed; tested to clearly defined standards and the associated risks are minimised before being implemented.
  • You will be required to Influence positive outcomes by using your excellent negotiation and communication skills with both business colleagues, IT technical colleagues and third party suppliers.
  • You will be a key member of the Mosaic Support Team, providing expertise and guidance during business as usual, resolving any day to day business issues that occur (Tier2) and future implementations. It is a role that may evolve during business as usual.
  • You will be required to cross train to be able to cover for any member of the Mosaic Support Team and perform any other duties that may be required.

  • A high level comprehension of the Mosaic Software Application
  • A high level comprehension of Childrens Social Care
  • A good level comprehension of the YJB Core + Software Application Development Life Cycle
  • An innovative and creative individual.
  • An excellent communicator with good interpersonal skills to develop relationships with people at all levels
  • Accurate and efficient, with an excellent eye for detail
  • Consistent, supportive, proactive and flexible in the way you deliver
  • Responsible and accountable for delivery of your personal tasks and outcomes, adhering to time scales and ensuring all priorities are met
  • Committed to delivering exceptional customer service
  • Accurately record business practices and translate into requirement documentation
  • Knowledge of CSCS Policies, PCC CSCS business ways of working
  • Educated to degree level or have the required relevant experience
