We are looking for someone to join our team supporting a gentleman in his own home in Whitstable. This is a part time post for 22.5 - 30 hours per week (304 shifts) you will be required to work a combination of early and late shifts across the week and some weekends, and including some sleep in shifts.
You will be working in his home, so it’s important you can connect, share interests and be interested. So if you enjoy listening to music, going for drives out and exploring the countryside we want to hear from you. From making a cuppa on their own to finding their place in community, the people we support have their own goals to shoot for and milestones to reach – big or small.
So if you enjoy building meaningful relationships and think you could plan, communicate and deliver support with and alongside people, then this is the place for you.
This gentleman has his own vehicle, so you will need to be a driver and willing to drive his car. For this you should have a full UK manual driving licence and have held it for at least 1 year for insurance purposes.
Affinity Trust does not presently hold a Sponsorship Licence and while this status is reviewed regularly there is no present proposal to apply for such a Licence
