We have a Part time, 21 hours -Working 3 days a week based at our service called Dolywern.

Dolywern is home for 30 adults with physical disabilities. We’re near the small town of Chirk.

About the role

As an Occupational Therapist with Leonard Cheshire, you will deliver an appropriate and well-planned programme of physiotherapy for existing and new customers, encouraging active participation in every session.

Working to the highest of standards you will help our residents to achieve their best possible outcomes as identified in their Person Centred Plan.

You will line manage Therapy Assistants within the service and work with other professional agencies as required regarding the provision of physiotherapy services.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Be qualified and registered as a practicing Physiotherapist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
• Be able to work as an autonomous practitioner as a full Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.
• Have thorough and up-to-date knowledge of physiotherapy theory and best practice.
• Be able to demonstrate effective physiotherapy practice in all qualified procedures.
• Have experience in a range of clinical skills with an emphasis on neurological rehabilitation and the management of disability.
• Work flexibly to the needs of the service.
• Have a clean driving licence (where driving is required).
