JOB DESCRIPTION

A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF

I am a 9 year old boy living in the Aberdare area. I am extremely active and enjoy many different activities. I like to play on my trampoline, go to soft plays, fair grounds and have a run around at my local parks. I am a big fan of water and really enjoy attending swimming lessons every Wednesday and playing in the Splash Pad at Aberdare Park. I also really love to play games on my Xbox and have so much fun at arcades.

I have a diagnosis of diagnosis of ADHD, global developmental delay and speech and language needs.

PURPOSE OF JOB

To support me in the community and provide my parents with respite.

HOURS OF WORK

4 hours a week to be worked flexibly

Preferably worked in 2 hour shifts

These hours will be worked after school

RATES OF PAY

Meets National Minimum Wage

£0.40 per mile

TASKS INVOLVED

Potential meals and preparation
Keeping me safe
Prompting me to use the toilet
Social outings
Community activities
Any other reasonable task

ABOUT THE JOB

Though a part-time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A trial period will be necessary in the first instance. The wage will be paid four weekly and appropriate holiday pay given.

The post is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS (Police) Check - which will need to be carried out before employment can commence. The cost of this will be met by the employer (Local Authority).

The relevant checks will be carried out to ensure any applicant has the right to work in the UK
