Job Title : Domestic Abuse CYP Outreach Worker
Hours: Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00 ( occasional out of hours working will be required )
Hourly Rate: £13 - £16 per hour
Location: Telford & Shropshire
Industry: Domestic Violence
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing support and advice to children and young people, in schools and colleges on a one-to-one basis and/or in groups.
* Identifying resources for parents/carers to use with their children * To make a difference by supporting those who look to us for support
* To provide a high-quality service to children and young people experiencing or at risk of domestic abuse.
* Working in a trauma-informed approach providing flexible outreach, advice, advocacy, harm reduction, and psychosocial interventions to children and young people.
* Work in close partnership with other agencies to case manage children and young people, so they can access a full range of services.
Essential experience:
- Experience working within the Domestic Violence industry
- Working within a public protection/ safeguarding multi-agency setting .e.g. Child protection, vulnerable adults, MARAC, MAPPA.
- Writing and presenting information formally and informally, to a range of audiences
- Confident working with a multi agency team
