Summary

Principal Resourcing are seeking to recruit a caring and patient SEN Teaching Assistant to join the welcoming staff team at one of our partnership Primary Schools based in South Leeds.

The full-time role is available with immediate start until the end of the academic year and will provide 1:1 and general class support to meet the needs of pupils across the KS2 classroom. You will be confident assisting pupils across Year 5 with learning activities, small group and 1:1 interventions across a variety of subjects, as guided by the Class Teacher. Previous experience supporting pupils within education is essential, including those with SEN and behavioural needs. Ideal applicants will have strong behavioural management skills and the ability to collaborate effectively as part of the staff team.

We welcome applications from experienced Support Staff, Teaching Assistants and SEN Support. You can expect to earn up to £100 per day for this role depending on experience.

The ideal applicant will:
- Have previous experience supporting pupils across the KS2 curriculum
- Be confident delivering 1:1 and small group interventions
- Ideally hold level 2/3 in SEN Support/Teaching Assistant
- Have excellent communication skills
- Work well as part of the existing staff team
