Key Responsibilities:
- Providing practical and emotional support to individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs.
- Assisting with daily activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
- Supporting individuals to access community resources, participate in social activities, and pursue their interests and hobbies.
- Implementing individualised support plans and promoting independence and choice.
- Building positive relationships with individuals, families, and other professionals involved in their support.
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of the individuals we support at all times.
Requirements:
- Compassion, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of others.
- Resilience and the ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
- A non-judgmental attitude and a commitment to promoting equality and diversity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A full UK driving license and the ability to travel locally to Luton and the surrounding areas.
- Willingness to undergo background checks and relevant training.
