Here at our beautiful care home, we provide a household model of care, and mealtimes are always a highlight of the day.
We are looking to welcome an energetic chef, with big ideas and an understanding of special dietary needs.
You'll be able to design menus, working with residents and managers to design and tailor food that provides an excellent nutritional balance, while providing a hospitality experience you can be proud of.
As a sous chef, you'll be second-in-command in the kitchen, working directly under the head chef. You'll be responsible for overseeing the kitchen team, and managing the kitchen when the head chef is absent.
You'll also play a key role in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff. We are a growing company, and will support you to provide opportunities to build a career in this growing, exciting sector.
We'll pay up to £16.25. The rota is for 30 hours a week, and while the home is a seven day business, the hours are much more flexible and family friendly than regular hospitality.
