We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Registered Nurse to complement our skill mix within our Medway Night Nursing Team, supporting with the provision of holistic, person centred care as delegated within your level of agreed competency, to patients, families/carers in their own homes in the out of hours period.

The service runs from 7pm to 7amm 365 days a year. You will be expected to work flexibly across the Neighbourhood Nursing Service. The role encompasses treatment, advice and teaching within the professional competence of the post holder and applicants need to demonstrate a commitment to the provision of high-quality evidence-based care. You will demonstrate an awareness of current evidence-based approaches to patient care and will be actively involved in the development of local strategies and contribute to Service improvement and redesign. MCH has a multi-cultural and ethnically diverse population which offers a wide spectrum of healthcare challenges which can be both complex and rewarding.

This position involves working weekends and some Bank Holidays. Occasional day time work will be required to meet your learning and development needs. Due to the nature of this role, you will need to have a valid UK driving licence and access to a car you can use for work purposes.

The small print
• We will offer you the choice of two pension schemes; the NHS Pension scheme and the Scottish Widows group pension scheme.
• We are a small social enterprise providing NHS services, and as such, we cannot take overseas nursing candidates who do not already have full UK registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council. We cannot support candidates with their OSCE preparation, OSCE exam, accommodation and pastoral care. As such, if you are not able to provide us with your NMC PIN on your application, we will not be able to shortlist you.
