Summary


This is an exciting time to join NHS England as a High Secure Case Manager as we create a shift in the approach to commissioning specialised mental health, learning disability and autism services with a focus on the transformation of the delivery of care pathways. NHS-Led Provider Collaboratives are now live and you can be pivotal in developing this new approach. You will be one of four case managers responsible for a portfolio of secure services mainly high secure.

The role supports the business in driving transformation as well as value for money in planning, commissioning and service. The role requires a combination of subject matter expertise and technical skills to promote strong service delivery.

The services include a combination of mental health services provided by both NHS and Independent Sector providers.

The specialised mental health commissioned services are:
• Adult Secure Learning Disability & Mental Health services
• Child & Adolescent Mental Health inpatient services
• Perinatal inpatient services
• Inpatient services for Deaf

Salary Progression
Applicants will commence at the bottom of Band 8a with a full-time starting salary of £50,952, with a pay step increase after 5 years’ service.

These salaries are offered in accordance with NHS Terms and Conditions and the HEE Pay Progression Policy and are subject to annual cost of living review.
