We're looking for an experienced Restaurant and Bar Manager to join our team at 8 Bishopsgate.
8 Bishopsgate is a diverse, multi-outlet tenant driven operation with an incredible range of hospitality. 8 Bishopsgate features two café bars, a stunning tenants’ restaurant on level 26, executive dining on Level 50 and meeting rooms plus an auditorium for up to 200 guests. In addition, we cater spectacular events within the building.
As Restaurant and Bar Manager, you'll oversee the smooth running of Level 26 – our buffet and self-service restaurant, serving an array of brunch and lunch offerings, inspired by the best of what London’s culinary scene has to offer. In the evening, our café turns into a bar with an impressive range of craft beers, cask wines and cocktails. Level 26 is open to tenants of 8 Bishopsgate only.
You’ll work closely with our senior leadership, responsible for managing, hiring, training & developing a team of more than 8, and the development and commercial aspect of the bar: marketing promotions, exciting drinks menus, entertainment and events, etc. There is a fair bit of cross exposure to the wider operation including the Lookout on level 50, meeting rooms across the building as well as our ground floor café. A bit of a chameleon!
Ideally, you will have cut your teeth in good quality restaurants or bars but will have some knowledge of the world – experience in another City site would be a huge advantage but not essential. Great leadership and commercial skills are a must.
