Bookkeeper | Remote working, main office based in Wymondham, Norfolk | Part-time, anticipated 10-12 hours per week | Fixed-term, initially 6 months | £16 per hour

As they continue to grow, they're seeking a dynamic individual to join their team as a part-time Bookkeeper. This is an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of the finance function while enjoying the flexibility of remote working.

In this role, you'll play a pivotal role in managing the day-to-day financial tasks of the company. From invoicing to expenses, you'll ensure the smooth operation of the accounts function. With the option for remote or hybrid working, this role offers the perfect balance of flexibility and responsibility.

Are you the right person for the job?

• Several years of bookkeeping experience
• AAT qualified or QBA considered
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Xero and Dext is advantageous
• Responsive and professional in customer interactions
• Collaborative and communicative team player
• Takes initiative and seeks support when needed
• Demonstrates a commitment to data protection

What will your role look like?

• Maintain key VAT information
• Raise sales invoices
• Process supplier invoices and allocate payments
• Reconcile supplier statements
• Collate and process expenses
• Undertake bank reconciliations
• Provide exceptional support to customers
• Prepare responses to queries
• Liaise with customers in a professional manner
• Complete internal checks for accuracy
• Build positive relationships with customers
