Summary
Step Teachers are working closely with a Primary School in Enfield to find an Assistant Site Supervisor to join their team and support the efficient running of their facilities. The successful candidate will assist the Site Supervisor in overseeing the maintenance, security, and cleanliness of the premises to ensure a safe and conducive environment for learning. This role consists of a 31 hour working week, and will continue to operate throughout school holidays.
Assistant Site Supervisor - Role:- Assist the Site Supervisor in carrying out daily inspections of the premises, identifying and promptly addressing any maintenance issues.
- Support in coordinating and overseeing contractors and external service providers, such as cleaners and maintenance technicians.
- Monitor and maintain the security systems, including CCTV cameras and alarms, to safeguard the school property and ensure the safety of students and staff.
- Assist in managing health and safety procedures, including conducting risk assessments and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Assist in maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, inventory, and equipment inspections.
- Support with the setup and coordination of events and activities held on the school premises.
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within an educational or public sector environment.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to effectively prioritise tasks.
- Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.
- Willingness to undergo any relevant training as required.
