Summary

NHS Job Title: Technical Cutover Manager Location: The Princess Alexandra Hospital, Harlow, CM20 1QX Trust:The Princess Alexandra NHS Trust Shift Patterns:Full-time, Monday to Friday, either 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm, totaling 37.5 working hours per week. (This role offers flexibility of 4 Days Work from Office and rest days Work from Home) Pay Rate:£42.74/Hr. JOB SUMMARY: As an EHR Cutover Manager you will be responsible for developing and then managing the Cutover Plan for the EHR Programme, i.e. the plan to transition the solutions into the live environment and operational use. Cutover Manager also needs to design and run the early live support processes to facilitate a go-live across the hospitals. You will work with both IT and Operational teams across partnership Trusts and help ensure the programme go-live is a success. RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead Cutover workstream within AH programme as per approved governance for the AH programme. A Technical cutover plan detailing the transition from the legacy systems/ paper to Oracle Healths offering of Cerner Millennium and the modules being deployed, detailed within section two of this document. The plan to detail cutover for: o Integration o Infrastructure including security implications o Service Desk o IM/Data Watehouse o Regression Testing o Data Migration/ Data Catch up Facilitate workshops to understand technical and operational implications of downtime to inform the technical and operational plan. Work closely with the operational team, technical and configuration workstreams, data migration, interfacing, informatics, Infrastructure to document detailed steps for cutover. The development and management of a Full-Dress Rehearsal (FDR) Plan. Own and manage the delivery of the Technical Plan during FDR. The development of an Early Life Support plan (ELS). The overall establishment including management of ELS following go live. Lead on the implementation of establishing a Command Control and associated governance and communications plan. Using heatmaps of those who will be impacted by the new ways of working, develop Super User and Floor Walker Plans, which integrates in-house resources, potential resources from partner Trusts with some external support. The establishment, management and delivery of Decision and Check Point calls. Proactive management of all project risks and issues relating to cutover, including timely escalation through the programme governance structure. SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: Must have EPR: Electronic Patient Record/EHR: Electronic Health Record cutover experience, including data Migration & Integration. Cutover experience on a Cerner Millenium deployment is ideal. The applicant must have EPR cutover experience, including data Migration & Integration. Proficiency in creating a technical cutover plan detailing transition from legacy systems to Oracle Health's offering, including modules deployment. Understanding of infrastructure, security implications, and integration aspects relevant to the cutover process. Experience in planning and managing service desk activities during the transition phase. Experience/Knowledge of data migration, data warehouse, and regression testing procedures. Ability to facilitate workshops and collaborate closely with operational and technical teams to understand implications and document detailed steps for cutover. Experienced/Knowledge in developing and managing Full-Dress Rehearsal (FDR) Plan and owning delivery of the Technical Plan during FDR. Experience in establishing command control, governance, and communications plan. Ability to develop Super User and Floor Walker Plans, integrating in-house and external resources. Experience in managing decision and checkpoint calls, and proactive management of project risks and issues, including timely escalation. IT TOOLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Proficiency in tools for project management and documentation. Experience with tools used for data migration. Familiarity with communication and collaboration platforms for stakeholder engagement. Experience with tools used for risk identification, assessment, and management. This role may require you to show evidence Diploma or ECDL or at least 2 years relevant experience.
