Summary

Job Overview:
HVSS (High Voltage Substation Services) Ltd specializes in design, construction, installation and commissioning of High Voltage Substations Systems up to 400KV, providing a comprehensive service for all aspects of high voltage substation civil and electrical construction from the very earliest stages to testing & commissioning and handover.
Our Office Administrator will be fully responsible for coordinating the day-to-day smooth running of the office and should be flexible and able to get involved wherever needed, across a range of tasks.
You will assist our Office Manager, company directors and other leadership team as a whole. Your responsibilities will cover everything from basic clerical support through to HR, health & safety administration, data input and running of errands and any other business needs.
This really is a varied role and requires someone willing to get involved in whatever is passed their way, from the most basic to the more challenging tasks and projects.
Duties: To succeed in the role, you should have the following skills and experience: - Perform general office duties including data entry, filing, and organizing documents.
- Manage office supplies and equipment inventory.
- Answer and direct phone calls with professionalism and courtesy.
- Assist in scheduling appointments, meetings, taking notes, travel and hotel booking.
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence.
- Utilize computer software, such as MS office, Excel, Sage and other office applications for administrative tasks.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an administrative role. Must have minimum 3 years’ experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data entry.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of clerical procedures and office management systems.
- Familiarity with phone etiquette and customer service principles.

• You must be able to commute to our office in Watford. There are no bus services in the areas. Nearest train station is Croxley (Metropolitan line). Driving will be more suitable.
