Are you passionate about providing exceptional customer service in the hospitality industry? MGM Muthu Hotel is seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Cluster Sales Manager.

JOB LOCATION: Highlands area and Glasgow- Would require frequent travels within these hotels so a Valid UK Driving Licence is essential.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, tenants, and guests.
Builds and strengthens relationships with existing and new online and offline accounts to enable future bookings. Activities include sales calls, identfiy new markets, entertainment, attending trade shows, networking events etc.
Establish strong partnerships between field and hotel and commerical team by maintaining a productive dialog and exchange of ideas.
Manages and develops relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Maintain FIT and group data base of travelers, bookers, influencers. , decsion makers
Interacts with travel agencies, corporate ( where ever possible) to obtain feedback on product quality and service level and escalate to Sales Head and Hotels GMs.
Executes and supports the operational aspects of business booked (e.g., generating proposal, writing contract, customer correspondence).
Responsible for Corporate, Travel Agency (leisure / Business travel agents) and domestic tour operator room Sales for the hotel and ensure monthly targets are met. Identify new b2b and B2bc clients & new business to ensure monthly hotel targets are met for hotel assigned.
Represent Hotels in local events and exhibition.
Update sales action plans, events & MICE tracker weekly and monthly.
Liaise with Hotel and marketing team come up with regular new promotion and offers.
Maintain database of existing and new accounts
Review daily reports and focus on recommendations concerning sales.

Understands the overall market - competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand etc. and knows how to sell against them.
Cross selling for other hotels in company portfolio.
Closely following up on all business leads within a 24-hour response timeline to clients.
Attending department and hotel meetings as necessary.
Performs other duties as assigned to meet business needs

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

English language written and spoken
Previous hotel industry Sales/National/ unit Account sales experience preferred.
Previous contacts with online corpoate travel agencies and coroprates based in UK is beneficial for candidate.
Experience evaluating business trends and developing and successfully implementing new business programs or strategies that enhance business performance
Demonstrated ability to deliver results under difficult conditions, even when faced with complexity and ambiguity.
Valid driving license.
Ability to function independently with little or no supervision as well as working effectively as a team member with strong time management skills.
Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Approach problems with open-mindedness, generate innovative ideas and solutions, stimulate creativity and innovation in others.
