Summary

Digital Customer Experience Assistant - secondment/fixed term opportunity until 31 March 2025 to cover a secondment.

Salary: Band: 6, £26,073 - £29,777 p.a.

37 hours per week

Are you passionate about websites and about creating high quality digital content that is driven by data and insight? Do you have a keen eye for detail, and the confidence to uphold quality standards around our website and intranet, particularly around accessibility? Do you have a good working knowledge of digital tools including Google Analytics, or a real drive to learn and build your skills? If so, we want to hear from you.

Your new role

This is a really important role where you will be responsible for creating and updating the main corporate website and intranet, ensuring best practices around writing, quality and accessibility are upheld. Under the guidance of the senior digital officer, you will engage with services to produce content that meets their needs, while serving our residents the best possible customer experience website and digital content. You will be responsible for maintaining and reviewing existing content on the website, proactively correcting identified issues and contributing to a continuous review of older content. This will involve you participating in section review projects, supporting the senior digital officer to engage with services and make recommendations on improving content and navigation. The post holder will be responsible for running data and insight reports, and under the direction of the senior digital officer creating dashboards.

In addition, you will provide administrative support for the digital customer team including monitoring and reviewing domains, managing redirects and monitoring the team inboxes. You will be expected to participate and contribute to wider digital projects, including the website replacement project, through testing and assistance with quality-assuring content.

What you'll need to succeed

Ideally, you'll have a professional web/digital qualification(s) and/or proven experience in a similar role or experience of working with websites and digital platforms. With excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience of working with web CMSs and using and extracting data from digital reporting tools you will have the confidence to challenge and uphold quality standards across our website and digital channels. With excellent organisational skills and an exceptional attention to detail with the ability to proofread content you will have an instinctive drive to deliver and the enthusiasm and passion to succeed in this role.
