An excellent career opportunity has arisen within our team at Leisure World Colchester for an enthusiastic, conscientious, and reliable individual who is able to use their initiative and work as part of a team.

Based at Colchester Leisure World, Cowdray Avenue, you will have the opportunity to work in an exciting and fast-paced facility - giving you exposure to the iconic Leisure Pool (including flumes and rapid rides), a 25 metre Fitness Pool, with a Dive Pit and 1 metre Dive board, a teaching pool for our Learn to Swim programme and our luxury wellness Aqua Springs spa facility.

You will be expected to maintain standards of building hygiene, appearance and lifeguarding the pools, to carry out various equipment changeovers and to liaise with Duty Officers as to other daily requirements. Work closely as part of a team ensuring the smooth and safe running of Leisure World Colchester and its sporting activities.

Our full-time position will work 37 hours per week (on average). Early morning, evening and weekend working will be required.

A current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) is essential.
