Summary
From our base in Hinckley, Leicestershire, Turfdry operates around the country on sports pitches, golf courses, schools, parks and gardens installing new drainage systems. Employees generally stay in site-based caravans (provided), or sometime in hotels. We are looking for a new member to join a small team. Our new employee will primarily be a tractor driver carrying out a range of duties including trenching operations, tipper trailer work, backfilling of trenches with gravel and sand hoppers, but will also be expected to undertake some manual work.
The successful candidate would be employed on a contract basis with minimum 40 hours per week until December 2024, and then if deemed suitable may be offered full-time employment with good career prospects. Applicants MUST ALREADY have the right to work in the UK and be able to pass a DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service) basic check. Honesty, integrity, and reliability are also basic requirements. Unless based in Hinckley, own transport would also be required (to travel to and from site at the start and end of the week). Pay is negotiable according to experience and capabilities.
