About the role:

With our in-house legal team growing, we’ve got a brand new role to join us as a Paralegal working alongside the Group General
Counsel and Company Secretary in a small but highly influential team to help drive compliance and governance across our regulated
and non-regulated businesses.

What You'll Do:

* Assist with Board and Committee services, ensuring smooth operations.
* Ensure statutory compliance by timely submission of filings.
* Process and file data protection renewals and other licenses for Group companies.
* Manage file systems, both electronic and paper, maintaining documents accurately.
* Handle file opening and closing procedures, ensuring compliance.
* Maintain various group databases including contracts, intellectual property, and property.
* Manage corporate inboxes efficiently.
* Oversee engagement and invoicing process for external legal and professional advisors.
* Maintain precedents, policies, and procedures.
* Prepare reports and presentations as needed.
* Monitor compliance against the Legal Services Compliance Handbook.
* Conduct research and assist with ad hoc projects.

What You'll Need:

* Experience in private practice or in-house legal environment preferred.
* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and Sharepoint.
* Law degree required, ideally completed the LPC.
