Veterinary Nurse - Bristol

We are looking for an enthusiastic Veterinary Nurse to join an outstanding team in the vibrant city of Bristol. The practice, accredited by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS), has recently undergone renovations, creating a fantastic relaxing area with a well-appointed office and staff room designed to prioritise the well-being of their team.
Situated near the city centre in an upbeat and vibrant community, the practice enjoys a diverse case load and boasts a loyal client base. The purpose-built surgery adheres to industry-leading standards, featuring a spacious theatre, state-of-the-art ultrasound and digital X-ray machines, dental X-ray facilities, and in-house Idexx lab machines. Additionally, the practice holds a Silver accreditation from the ISFM as a Cat Friendly Clinic, reflecting their commitment to exceptional care.
The successful candidate will become part of an experienced team, collaborating with one full-time and three part-time Vets, three RVNs, five Client Care Advisors, and one Client Care Manager. Key attributes for the role include strong general veterinary nursing skills, excellent communication abilities, and a genuine enthusiasm for animal welfare. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for interactions with both clients and the dynamic team.

The Role:
• Full Time role - 38.5 hours
• 4 day week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday)
• 8.30am - 7pm Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and 8.30am - 5.30pm Wednesday with 30 minute breaks each day unpaid
• No OOH or weekends
Benefits:
• Generous salary starting from £26,000 - £30,000 DOE
•£300 CPD allowance each year
• 5.6weeks annual leave (including bank holidays) increasing to 6.6wks after 2 years of service
