Leadership
Manage and provide leadership support for team members in order to support delivery of outputs
Ensure performance is managed consistently and fairly, including Diversity and Inclusion principles and provide regular feedback
Identify and develop capability needs, ensuring robust Development Plans are in place for yourself and your team
Ensure own and team’s compliance with mandatory requirements e.g. Health & Safety training.
Inspire, motivate and engage with the Integrated Programme Management Team and with other external teams across the HMNB Clyde establishment community, by providing positive working environment and empowering the teams at all levels.
Provide support to Line Manager and Programme Director to deliver departmental outputs with minimal supervision.
Recruit and line manage staff as required.
Any other ad-hoc duties re required by the Programme Director.
Programme Management
Proactively monitor the progress of the programme, resolving issues and initiating appropriate corrective action
Define, implement, and act to continuously improve programme controls to increase delivery confidence and understanding.
Monitor, manage and report on programme performance (time, cost, quality, safety etc.)
Provide appropriate reports to the Programme Director, Defence Infrastructure Organisation, Senior Responsible Officer and Front Line Command.
Act as a leading figure in the work to integrate organisations across Clyde and support implementation of an integrated project team approach across the programme, providing support and guidance where required.
Provide education, guidance, advice and coaching on programme management best practice to programme colleagues.
Provide strategic advice and support project delivery and wider programme stakeholders where required.
Deputise where required for Programme Director on programme matters.
Core programme management products, including programme mandate, programme plans, Risk, Assurance, Issues, & Dependencies (RAID) logs, governance documents.
Highlight reports, progress updates and other reports as required (e.g. Portfolio Management Reporting System)
Development and critique of Business Cases.
Benefits maps and profiles, and benefit realisation plans.
Recruit appropriate programme office staff and manage the ongoing development and performance of the team members.
Remote working within this role is something that can be discussed at interview stages or with your future line manager if you are found successful.
