Title: Print Press Operative / Lithographic Printer / Machine Operator The Best Connection have an exciting new job opportunity in Runcorn.
Our client, a leading print outsourcer that specialises in workflow and technical solutions, are looking to recruit a lithographic print operator to work in their busy print room.
Duties will include: Run and monitor printing machines to produce high-quality printed materials. Prepare printing machines for production runs, including adjusting settings, loading materials, and performing test runs. Monitor machine operation and machine performance, to ensure smooth and efficient production. Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your team members. Essential criteria: Minimum one year experience with lithographic printers/ continuous stationery presses. Understanding of print and print finishing processes. During the training period the working hours will run of a two-week rotating pattern and the annual salary will be £33,600: Week 1 - Monday to Friday 06:00 - 13:30 Week 2 - Monday to Friday 13:30 - 21:00 On completion of the training period the annual salary will increase to £37,344 and the working hours will then move to a three-week rotating pattern: Week 1 - Monday to Friday 06:00 - 13:30 Week 2 - Monday to Friday 13:30 - 21:00 Week 3 - Monday to Thursday 21:00 - 06:00 This role is subject to permanent position after a successful qualifying period. An immediate start is available after successful interview.
