The Role

Do you have experience of implementing Billing and CRM software, ideally in a utilities / water / energy environment? This utility billing software generates bills and manages customers, and we are looking for an Implementation Project Manager to implement this Solution built on the Salesforce platform for our client.

• Reporting to the Programme Manager, you will ultimately be responsible for the success of the Software Implementation project.
• Co-ordinating teams across multiple locations.
• Developing the project plan identifying resources, people, systems and procedures to deliver the project. Managing schedules and reporting regularly on progress, risks and issues.
• Tailor governance to satisfy both internal and client stakeholders.
• Accountable for the project team while on site including management of their workload in alignment with reporting managers and support with PDRs.
• Fully responsible for allocation, spend and tracking of project budget.
• Timely issue resolution of issues in agreement with stakeholders.

What You’ll need
• Extensive Project Management experience and relevant degree qualification, including Prince 2, MS Office incl Projects (or equivalents).
• Experience in managing complex projects with multiple interdependent workstreams.
• Experience managing off-shore delivery teams.
• Managing budgets and timescales, aiming for cost savings and efficiencies.
• Exposure to the UK water or energy markets, utility billing and implementation of Salesforce. technologies is desirable but not essential.
• Able to establish and tailor governance structures, recognising risks and delivering mitigation plans.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Clear ability to lead, build and maintain relationships both face to face and virtual teams.
