We are seeking a highly qualified and skilled Senior Early Childhood Practitioner (SECP) with expertise in early childhood learning and development, to join our management team at St John’s Academy Nursery. The post is whole year working.

As a part of the management team, the role is to work alongside the Principal ECP and Nursery Teacher to respond to the individual needs of our children and families and support the delivery of high quality learning and development.

You must be able to work on your own initiative and as a team member who directly contributes to and supports colleagues in the development of a flexible childcare and early education service, which is appropriate to the needs of young children and their families in the centre and its surrounding community, within the context of both authority and Nursery policies and procedures.

St John’s RC Academy is looking to recruit a Senior ECP within the nursery of our all-through school.

The school offers a wide range of excellent learning experiences for children and young people and achievement is significantly improving across the school year-on-year.

As a Catholic school, the school’s vision and values are rooted in the Gospel. St John’s RC Academy is also a Fairtrade School, an Eco-School and the first all-through school in the UK to achieve UNICEF’s Rights Respecting Schools Gold Award.
