Your new company
Hays Healthcare are actively recruiting Band 5 Registered Mental Health Nurses to work on a variety of wards in York, including Adult/Elderly Acute, Rehab, PICU.
Your new role and responsibilities
- The multidisciplinary team is made up of Registered Mental Health Nurses
- Each ward follows the recovery model when providing assessment and treatment which includes a range of assessments completed throughout each admission.
- Patients receive one to one sessions with nursing staff, which allows them to discuss their presentation, feelings and any concerns they may have.
- Carry out nursing care to the highest possible standard according to Trust Policies and Practice and Clinical Guidelines
- Administer patient medication according to Trust Policy, including intravenous medication
- Liaise with the bed manager and discharge co-ordinator to ensure effective bed management on the ward, including admission of patients, planning of bed usage and timely discharge planning
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified RMN
- Active NMC Pin (UK)
- 6 months UK experience
- Right to Work in UK (NO SPONSORSHIP)
