Summary

Bawso is the lead organisation in Wales providing practical and emotional support to black minority ethnic (BME) and migrant victims of domestic abuse, sexual violence, human trafficking, Female Genital Mutilation and forced marriage.

We are seeking to appoint for the following position:

Team Manager (Domestic Abuse Services)

Location: Cardiff and The Vale of Glamorgan

Project: RISE

Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £ 29,418 per annum
Contract: Fixed Term Contract, up to 31st March 2025.

The Locality Manager will work alongside the Head of National Services to provide line management to a team of support staff. The job involves ensuring that a high standard of crisis intervention and casework support is provided to women and their children experiencing or fleeing domestic abuse and in need of safe accommodation, support or advice.

This role is restricted to female applicants only in accordance with the provisions of the occupational requirement (Equality Act 2010, pursuant to Schedule 9, Part 1).
