Duties & responsibilities
• Ensuring that all goods that are loaded or unloaded match the relevant paperwork.
• Receiving deliveries and stocking warehouse shelves
• Reporting any damaged or missing goods
• Fabricating bespoke monitoring & dosing panels
• Booking out stock for bespoke fabrication
• Keeping the warehouse environment clean and tidy and maintaining equipment
• Following workplace health and safety rules when handling goods
• Testing & inspecting returned products
• Prepare products for training sessions
• Ensuring efficient operations by adhering to operational procedures, rules and schedules
• Assisting with warehouse inventory controls
• Treating products with care
• Computer literacy, including experience using stock or warehouse management systems
• Excellent organisational and record-keeping skills
• Honesty and trustworthiness
• The ability to work effectively under limited supervision.
• Forklift truck training will be provided
Candidate requirements
- GCSE in English chemistry, physics & maths
- Minimum of 2 years’ work experience and able to demonstrate ability to follow instructions and work autonomously
- A basic understanding of chemistry, maths & physics
- Honesty and trustworthiness
- Reasonable physical strength, fitness and dexterity, some lifting will be required and working at elevated heights
Package
Annual leave
• 25 days annual leave,
• 8 bank holiday days
• Christmas shutdown from 22nd December to 1st January
Upon passing 3 month probation
• 5% employer pension contribution

Progression
• 3 month probationary period
• Opportunity to progress to Warehouse and Fabrication Operative with salary increase to £25,000 after upon completion of training.
