We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Watch Technician to join our friendly team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for watches, excellent communication skills, and a knack for sales. This role involves selling repair services to customers, completing minor repairs, and handling general administrative duties. Full training will be provided to the successful candidate.
**Responsibilities:**
1. **Customer Service:**
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly, understanding their repair needs, and recommending suitable solutions.
- Educate customers on the importance of watch maintenance and repair services.
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor at all times.
2. **Sales:**
- Actively promote repair services to customers, emphasising the benefits and value-added services.
- Meet or exceed sales targets by effectively communicating the benefits of repair services and upselling additional offerings.
- Keep up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends to better assist customers.
3. **Watch Repairs:**
- Perform minor watch repairs such as battery replacements, strap adjustments, and cleaning.
- Assess watches for repair needs, accurately diagnose issues, and provide repair estimates to customers.
4. **Administrative Duties:**
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, customer information, and inventory.
- Process transactions, including cash, credit card, and electronic payments, with attention to detail.
**Qualifications:**
- Previous experience in watch repair or a related field is preferred but not required. Full training will be provided.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong sales aptitude with a customer-focused approach.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to perform precise and delicate repairs.
- Basic computer skills for administrative tasks.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
