Base Location: Reading or Perth

Salary: £26,609 - £30,472 + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

Working Pattern: 12 month Fixed Term Contract or Secondment | Full Time | Flexible First options available - This is a hybrid role working 2 days a week from the office

What is the Role?

As we embed a new customer billing system and develop new processes and controls, we strive to continuously improve our levels of operational excellence and customer experience. As part of your role you will:

- Work through bank statement error batches in the system to review, accept or reject proposed allocations.

- Perform manual and file-led allocations.

- Investigate problems, resolve unallocated receipts, and answer internal & external customer queries.

- Challenge existing processes and ways of working so that our standards of delivery and continuously improving and adapting for new opportunities, including the digital customer journey.

- Review and update process documentation.

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- Experience in high-volume transaction processing; able to work accurately and adhere to documented processes.

- Ability to work with Excel to a good-level of proficiency is an essential requirement.

- Numerical confidence and accuracy; basic accounting skills including familiarity with raising journals (preferred).

- Problem-solving confidence and the willingness to question and investigate if something looks wrong.

- Flexibility and strong communication skills to work effectively across the team, including virtually.
